CCP/Dual Enrolled Students

Career College Promise(CCP)/Dual Enrolled GCS Students: How to obtain Books, Access Codes and DayONE materials for my GTCC classes.

    • CCP/Dual Enrolled Students:  Guilford County Schools and GTCC partner to provide free courses for GCS students who qualify to particpate in CCP.  Guilford County Schools does not however cover the cost of course materials, kits, supplies or uniforms.  Parents/Students students should plan to make those purchases in store or online prior to or during the first week of classes.  

    • All CCP/Dual Enrollment students must check out at the registers in the stores. Student paying out of pocket may place a credit card order online for course materials, and we can ship to home. 

      Important:  SPONSORED GCS CCP/Dual Enrolled Students NOTE:  If your school is paying for your materials(Sponsorship), you will need to come into the store, present your Student I.D. and another acceptable I.D. to our Cashier and checkout at the register.  This way your materials will be covered by your GCS-CCP Sponsorship.  Sponsored GCS student cannot order online because GCS does not pay for shipping costs. 
    • Please have your Schedule on your digital device or a paper copy when you come in or shop on this website.  Campus Stores accepts most forms of payment.  For courses taught at our Greensboro Campus, you can shop the Greensboro store website/store, for all others, including most online courses please shop at the Jamestown store/website. 
    • Store Staff will assist students in helping pull the correct books/access codes based on their schedule.  Purchases should be made in-store or ordered on this website(small charge for shipping) to ensure you are receiving the correct items for your courses. 
    • DayONE ACCESS:  some course materials are delivered via software inside CANVAS(DayONE) and there is a Courseware Fee accessed for these materials.   You can search your courses above under course materials.  If your course is listed with just one DayONE item you are all set and you just need to pay your fees with GTCC.   DayONE typically includes the eBook, tutorials, learning software, tests, quizzes and videos to accompany the course.  IMPORTANT:   It is important to pay this Fee along with other fees before the drop deadlines for non-payment or you will be removed from the course.  
    • If the store is out of your book when you come in, please request to do a Special Order, and we will contact you as soon as the books arrives.  If it is not showing as available on our website, please check back as we will list in stock once it has arrived. 
    • All returns and exchanges must be made by the end of the 7th day of classes. After that period, only book buyback will be available.  
    • GCS Academy's and Early Middle College Students:  Students enrolled in our EMC program or at a GCS Academy will receive separate instructions from their High School Counselors. Students are still required to checkout at the registers and will use their Student I.D. and another acceptable I.D. to have the sponsorship cover the cost and a receipt will be provided.
